Today’s actually a two-for. Lighting isn’t so hot, but here they are:

These are at the shop, too. A jar of mother of pearl buttons with a black sock darner inside, topped with a doll head. The clock on the right simply has a dome over it. They’re in a wonderful, primitive pine cabinet that is temporarily lined with old pages from a classical piano music book. An off white doily table runner anchors the display. You also see one of a pair of black iron, scroll candlesticks and part of a lady’s head silhouette. And on the left, part of an art deco picture frame. Like any of it? Gotta have it? Think you’ll just die if you can’t get that one thing that is made for that one spot in your house? Ask me. It’s all for sale. <g>

Life’s been pretty non-eventful in Sylacauga, Alabama. Not much to talk about. With me it’s just work as usual. Ricky’s getting major overtime which is so very welcome in the checkbook. It’s hard on him, but money’s always good. He’s an electrician at the local paper mill. They’re laying off 100 employees the end of this month. Thankfully, for us, he’s been there long enough not to get hit, but I feel for the ones who did.
We’re trying to find homes for Lena’s animals. One old black lab and a whole buncha cats. Five are inside cats. I’ve lost count of the outside cats. Somewhere between five and eight.
My daughter-in-law’s dad is having some health issues and would appreciate prayer. I’ll divulge more when I hear the final diagnosis.
Have fun, live and love life, and put something under glass! It’s easier to dust that way.

Thanks Wanda, hopefully Spring will arrive for the Spring Sale!!
I love glass cloches, they do keep out the dust, and being a visual merchandiser by trade, I love to do little displays, my family think Ive lost it!
