Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make us smile. Of course, babies, puppies and kittens, but I’m talking about non breathing things. I was rearranging yesterday and combined these objects together. And it made me smile! I just enjoy gazing on it. So simple.

A little nativity sheep sitting on a spike flower frog, under a glass dome (probably a candle cup), all sitting atop a brass lamp base.
Darn. I like it so much it might have to go home with me. I’ll have to see if I can duplicate it quickly.
Then, I was wondering what to do with these different sized letters taken from Ford trucks at The World O’ Junk. Put them in the apothecary jar, stood back and smiled.

On a not making me smile note, this happened first thing this morning. Not a great start to the day:

I just LOVE the letters in the jar! What a wonderful idea.
I need that little basket purse sitting on the table beside the disaster, Is it for sale on your site?
simplicity at it’s best. some days we try too hard to make it look right. Or at least right to us. And then there are days like this, it is so simple. Love it!
ahh. the collapsed garment rack. sadly, i know it well.
and so funny, I have a new obsession w those plain little glass apothecary jars! I’ve bought like 5 in the past couple weeks – they’re nothing special – probably started out with candy inside or something…but just this morning I was hunting down my vintage key collection to put in one…and now here you are w metal letters in yours! love it!
