Last Weekend’s Jackpot

Man, this week’s been hectic busy! Good busy for the most part. There’ve been a lot of people in and out of the shop. Some buyers and some chatters. But I’ve not had any blog time and it only takes a couple of days before I’m waaaay behind in reading everyone’s posts. That task lies ahead of me now.

Last weekend. Let’s see…. First sale was pricey and disappointing. I bought these recipes and charity cookbooks and paid too much, but I’m incapable of leaving hand written and clipped recipes behind. Definitely one of my weaknesses.

Next sale. I turned onto the road and thought to myself that I’d been to one on that road before. Pulled up to the house and walked up the driveway, but it wasn’t until I got inside that I knew it was the same house. But it was so weird. I didn’t remember any of the stuff. The house was exactly the same, but the stuff seemed different. Then I saw the living and dining room suits and knew it was the same. I’d bought the only things I was interested in before. This time I bought some pillows that I didn’t see before.

Next sale was a moving sale where I bought a new with tags Penta sweater and a Nugat sweater. I don’t have pictures of them, yet.

The next sale was, I believe, another moving sale, although it said estate sale. This is the only thing I got there. Sorry, but I’m keeping this one.

The last sale should have been the first. The ad said it had samples of candles and things like that. And it did. I was having so much fun. The prices were right and I was gathering lots of smell goodies. The young lady having the sale said I should have been there early. It was almost all gone when I was there. Pooh! But I still got some good things.
