What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen at a yard sale?

We interrupt the Under Glass series to bring you this important, you gotta see this, message. Or ask this pressing question. What is the weirdest, goofiest, craziest, most ‘Where the H*** Did That Come From’ thing you’ve seen at a yard sale? I think I saw it today. The youth from some other church had a yard sale in my church’s parking lot. Oddly, no youth were present to hold said yard sale. Just some scruffy guys. I have no idea what that was all about, but take a look at the picture below the next paragraph.

Now, you’d think with all that stuff, there’d be something to buy. Not so much. This was midday. I was there first time early and there wasn’t this much stuff,  so I returned only to find the strangest thing I’ve ever seen at a sale. And no, I did not buy it. See if you can spot it. The Big Green Man can be yours for $100.00. I know because someone in a pick-up truck passed by on the street and hollered, “How much for the green man?” The reply was hollered back,”A hundred!” But now get this. I’d walked all around this green giant – Is it the Jolly guy? – and had not noticed him until that moment. My eyes were scanning the expected. The normal places like table tops and furniture. How did I not see him when I drove up? Sometimes I baffle myself.
