Lena’s not doing well

Our hearts are breaking. You all remember my friend Lena? My antiquing buddy. She’s been battling Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma for about 7 years now. Treatments would beat it back, but it was never completely gone until this past spring. After those treatments, there wasn’t a sign of it anywhere. We rejoiced. Taxes? At estate sales?

Do you have to pay sales tax at estate sales in your state? I’m talking about sales of a deceased person’s stuff, priced and run by a professional estate sale company. Not an auction.
