Vintage Black Velveteen Close Fitting Cap
Cute, black velveteen, close fitting cap. It has a headband sewn into the front and the rest fits into place. It looks small, but it's made to sit a little high on the head. I'm sure it's a one size fits all and would be fine for most, but those with big ol' punkin heads like mine probably wouldn't be able to wear it well. Not that it wouldn't fit, it does, but it would most likely try to slide up.
The front from one side end, across the top to the other side end is 13-1/2". Center front to center back is 6-1/2". The bottom of the back, from one side end to the other side end is 13-1/2".
There are some places where the velveteen is shinier than other places. This is usually the nap or lighting. I can't make it go away by rubbing it in different directions, but do only see it in the right light. However it is always the same few areas. The cap is rather warped, but when it's one the head, as you see in the pictures, it smooths out nicely.
Lined with a black Rayon and finished with black grosgrain ribbon. Possibly home sewn. There is no label.
